April News SEE MY COMMERCIAL: Here's what's new: 8/2/07 April rocked 205 Chrystie Street and opened for several bands. May made several new friends as the audience laughed until they hiccupped. And May walked out with several phone numbers. Oh, if this doll could talk! 7/28/07 April killed at Joe Franklin’s for an all black audience club. Being the last comedian of the evening some had their doubts. But as April rocked the stage the audience replied, “Leave her up. She was the best one all night.” Hey, who ever knew a white chick could do Def Jam 7/16/07 April appears as a guest host on Devore and Diana on Maxim Sirius Radio and the topic is 265 reasons people have sex. One reason a couple gave was to keep warm. To which April replied, “Well, when I wanna keep warm I drink coca. And I don’t run the risk of contracting AIDS or pregnancy.” She also challenged a listener to a wrestling match but he chickened out. Maybe all men are wimps, lol. 7/06 April is a frequent opener for 27 Heaven at the Laugh Factory. Director Ian Halpiern called her, “A budding talent and a star in the making.” 7/05-7/26- April stars as the Cab Driver in Reality Aside Theatre’s production of Murder Me Always. David Klingman, former manager of John Leguizamo, called her, “A true pro and the best one in the show.” Because of April’s improv ability not only did she STS (steal the show) according to several audience members but she also had several cellmates. But that is a different story. 7/2/07 April and May kill in the Broadway Comedy Club café and they took on some heavy social issues yet again. Is April getting smarter or is she Lenny Bruce with lipstick? We don’t know. 7/01/07 April did a crowd pleasing performance at the upscale Brokerage Comedy Club on Long Island. Her comedy proved to be sharp and witty. Who ever thought a blonde could be both funny and smart. 6/23/07 Guess where April was?!?!Carucci’s Restaurant in Arlington, NJ! Not only did April kill, but the audience chanted again and again, “Keep her up. She’s funny!” 6/10/07 April does a guest spot at Joe Franklin’s and takes down the house as per usual. The lineup includes up and comers such as Danny Loebell, Liz Meile, and Yannas Pappas. 6/09/07 April rocked the Hard Hat Restaurant with Geno Bisconte. Proving she was not just a pretty face with a doll she rocked the room with applause and the owner proudly hung her picture on the wall. She has a home there. 5/18/07 April appears on Comical Radio yet again. Stealing the show and the spotlight away from a rather famous comedian, April gets herself in a little bit of trouble. But despite the fact he was mad by the end of the episode he even fell in love with the talented sprite. 5/11/07 April appears on the Comical Radio with May and wins a date with Dave Kasten. Callers tied up the phone line for hours and guess what, the listeners couldn’t get enough of it. Now not only does April have new fans BUT they even read her blog!!!! 5/03/07 Come see April at the Sage Theatre. This little lady always rocks this midtown joint and calls it home. One time she trumped a whole lineup of male comedians and some with TV credits wouldn’t speak to her afterward. But hey, sucks having talent. 5/01/07 Come see April in Port Jefferson, Long Island at Quack Ups Comedy Show. On this show April will be working clean….which means unfortunately May will be taking the corner. But hey, it’s a show April’s mother as well as the rest of the family can watch. And who know, April’s Mom may actually come. 4/27/07 Come see April and May at Band Magic in Secacus, NJ. They rock….that’s all we can say. 4/26/07 April treks out to Vintage Lounge on Levittown, Long Island. The last time the Superfox went out that way she and comrade May not only took the house down but were requested back by everyone there. One woman said, “You better damn well be coming back.” Well they are back and badder than ever. And they may even have a song. So watch out…. 4/23/07 April made her debut at the world famous Upright Citizen’s Brigade in the show Marx the Spot running around in a red bikini. To make a long story short, not only did the other women not talk to her while she was in her bikini but were vocal about wishing they had her body once she put her clothes back on. 4/07 This month April has been rocking it out all over the Tri-State area sharing the stage with such comedians as Chips Clooney (The Aristocrats), Buddy Flip (national headliner), Joe Conti (Conti and Kenny Radio), and many others. All that have seen her have been impressed with what the Superfox is packing. Chipps was so amazed at what this girl could do he stood dumbfounded and said, “Give the twenty two year old a hand.” 4/07 April rocked Talent Night in the East Village. The show was a wild one filled with May pushing the envelope and tampon throwing…..long story. April was also recognized as an “underground hero” from several of the fans that wandered in as well as the regulars at the joint. Again, this means April is getting out there. You go girl. 4/07 May, April’s look-alike, was interviewed by Bill Bellamy, host of NBC’s Last Comic Standing 5. Be sure to watch the trailor to see Bill Bellamy’s face when May hits on him. Some things are too priceless. 4/07 April was a guest host on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Sexfiles with Yvonne Fulbright. Lets just say they never had a woman who could dish it out to clueless men and be funny at the same time
