Quite the impressive young lady, she promises the world that she will grace the silver screen and late night television as the first successful female host. Is she there yet? "They Must Be Joking" April was picked yucking it up outside NYC's world famous Caroline's Comedy Club waiting to audition for Last Comic Standing. The reporters picked the blonde clad in tossel cap and mittens sans makeup to share her joke. Everyone that has heard it has gone laughing in the aisles. However, though she may love to joke Miss Brucker takes her comedy very seriously, writing at least 12 jokes a day everyday.

"Dummies are a Girl's Best Friend" April takes NYU by storm with her puppets. The minute she moved into her prison-type freshmen residence hall complete with stone walls the neighbors began to talk and gather in April's room for shows. Soon, after one unforgettable dorm talent night, she caught the attention of a student reporter. Thus April made the transformation: little girl from Pittsburgh to true New York Entertainer. 9/03

"The Little Voice" This international newspaper took note of April after one of her tapes made the journey to England . It highlighted the talent of this quirky, seventeen year old straight A student from Pittsburgh . It was perhaps one of the first things to establish for as tiny as April Brucker may be (5'3" in stocking feet) she was making big noise. And despite pleas from relatives to seek a stable career path and trash talk from nay sayserone thing was for sure, April Brucker was not going away. As a matter of fact she was coming to your town. 3/03
